If you live close to Zurich, a visit to Juckerfarm is highly recommended in the fall. Kids love the pumpkins and related activities, like carving your own pumpkin, seeing how apple cider is produced, picking their own pumpkin to take home, walking through the apple maze, feeding and petting the goats. If you go on the weekends, make sure you are really early. It was rather crowded by 10 am on a Sunday when we went. And leave some room in your tummies (or a lot of room, really) – the food is mouthwatering! From a vast breakst buffet featuring everything your heart desires, to seasonal lunch selections to freshly baked Berliners and of course pumpkin soups, you won’t miss out. In the end, it’s worth splurging on some Juckerfarm goodies, too, so the memories live on at home in your kitchen.
Thank you for stopping by on F&F. I’m Scarlett and I live in Zurich. What once was purely a space for cooking has evolved into a mama’s mundane diary of sorts: at the eleventh hour in 2016, baby E was also thrown into the crazy mix. We’re a family of three who love to celebrate life. See what we’ve been indulging in, read about our playtime favorites, where we are off to explore and what sparks joy for us. As a headstart, find out more in the About section.
